Ghanaian youngster Mathew Anim Cudjoe was unplayable in Dundee United’s pre-season friendly win over Queen of the South Football Club earlier on Saturday.
The 19-year-old scored a goal and won the penalty as his side secured a 2-1 win over the Scottish League One side.
Anim, who played 12 games in the Scottish Premiership last season, is determined to win a place in Jim Goodwin’s team for the 2023/24 season and has been working tremendously well during the pre-season.
The versatile forward scored the opening goal of the game to give his side the lead before winning a foul in the box which was converted by his teammates as Dundee United secured victory.
Anim Cudjoe joined the club in November 2021 and has been in and around the first season for the past year and half,
