Asante Kotoko full back Christopher Nettey was voted Most Valuable Player against Ebusua Dwarfs as Kotoko won 1-0 during a Week 7 rescheduled fixture honored on Wenedsday.
The talented footballer scored the only goal of the game in the 71st minute from a Patrick Asmah free-kick.
Nettey headed home the opener as Asmah’s cross eluded everyone in the box but the former Attram de Vissier academy player who was left alone unmarked at the far post.
It is the first time he is picking the award this season. Habib Mohammed, Kwame Poku are some other Kotoko players who have won the individual award this campaign.
