Samartex won again on Wednesday afternoon, defeating Nsoatreman 2-0 in their betPawa Ghana Premier League match week 28 game.
To the pleasure of their supporters, Kwasi Ofosu handed the home team the lead in the first minute. Nsoatreman custodian Daniel Afadzwu made a superb stop in the 30th minute to hold the score at 1-0.
In the 55th minute, Nana Kwame Junior equalised for Nsoatreman, but the referee blew for offside. Samartex’s Evans Osei Wusu scored in the 58th minute to make it 2-0.
In the 65th minute, Nsoatreman made some substitutions. Amos Yeboah was replaced by Samuel Ofori.
In a 1v1 situation, Nsoatreman goalkeeper Daniel Afadzwu made another excellent save in the 72nd minute to deny Samartex from scoring again.
The win sees Samartex move to eighth on the league table with 39 points, and Nsoatreaman ranked 15th with 34 points.
Samartex’s next game will be against Bechem United, while Nsoatreman will play Medeama SC.
