Accra Hearts of Oak continued their impressive run in their off season friendlies when they defeated Heart of Lions 3-2 on Saturday morning.
The Phobians sealed a slim victory over Heart of Lions in a club friendly at the Pobiman Sports Complex.
Defender Christopher Bonney opened the score for the Phobians with a scintillating free-kick on the 37th minute of the game.
Samuel Agbenega however, got the leveler for the Kpando-based club two minutes later to end the first half in a one-all draw.
Back from recess, striker Anthony Quayson restored the phobians’ lead on the hour mark.
Poster boy Kofi Kordzi struck on the 82nd minute to give Hearts a 3-1 lead before Sule Musah’s late strike reduced the scoreline to 3-2 for the Heart of Lions.
