Ghana’s U-16 girls continued their impressive form in the UEFA Development Tournament with a commanding 5-0 victory over Northern Ireland, showcasing their attacking prowess and tactical discipline.
The Black Damsels took control early, with Priscilla Mensah opening the scoring in the 16th minute with a composed finish. She struck again in the 26th minute to double Ghana’s lead, putting them firmly in command. Seidatu Wahab added a third goal with a well-taken effort as Ghana dominated proceedings.
Daniella Abass wrapped up the emphatic win by scoring Ghana’s fifth, capping off a relentless attacking display. The Black Damsels created numerous chances throughout the match, proving too strong for their Northern Irish counterparts.
This victory follows Ghana’s 8-1 demolition of host nation Malta two days earlier, reinforcing their dominance in the tournament.
