Ghanaian midfielder Majeed Ashimeru won the Austrian Bundesliga with Red Bull Salzburg on Sunday, 28 June 2020 with two games to spare.
Ashimeru was a second half substitute in their 3-0 win over Hartberg which helped them grab 11-point lead over Samuel Tetteh’s LASK Linz.
Linz suffered lost 1-0 at home to Wolfsberger and that won Salzburg the Austrian title.
Last month, Ashimeru scored to help Salzburg beat his former side Austria Lustenau 4-0 to win the Austrian Cup.
