Former Ghana defender Anthony Baffoe has encouraged the Black Stars to keep working hard following their impressive victories during the March international break.
Ghana’s senior national team began the break with a dominant 5-0 win over Chad at the Accra Sports Stadium last Friday before sealing another convincing 3-0 victory against Madagascar in Morocco.
The two wins in Group I have significantly boosted Ghana’s chances of qualifying for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, as they now sit at the top of the standings.
Reacting to the team’s performance, Baffoe congratulated the Black Stars but emphasized the need for continued effort and focus.
“Congratulations to the Black Stars and the entire management. Two matches, eight goals, and two clean sheets—let’s continue to work hard. Bravo!” the former Ghana international wrote in a post on X.
With Ghana now leading Group I, the Black Stars must remain determined and push for maximum points in the upcoming qualifiers to secure their place at the World Cup.
