Leicester City are intensifying efforts to sign English-born Ghanaian winger Jesurun Rak-Sakyi, with several clubs vying for the highly-rated Crystal Palace youngster.
The 22-year-old caught the eye during his loan spell at Sheffield United last season, where he made 34 Championship appearances, scoring seven goals and providing two assists. His pace, directness, and creativity in the final third have made him one of the most sought-after young wingers in English football.
According to the Daily Record, Scottish giants Rangers submitted a loan bid earlier in the transfer window but saw it rejected. Southampton also tested Palace’s resolve with a £10 million offer, but the London club turned it down, underlining their valuation of the player.
Rak-Sakyi remains under contract at Selhurst Park until June 2027 and is currently valued at around €6 million by Transfermarkt. However, with the winger yet to feature for Palace this season, speculation continues to mount over his future before the transfer window closes.
Leicester view Rak-Sakyi as an ideal addition to inject energy and creativity into their attack as they prepare for the Premier League campaign, but they face stiff competition from other suitors determined to secure his signature.
