Ghanaian enforcer Kwame Bonsu will spend fourteen days on the sidelines after suffering an injury in FC Cleopatra’s 1-1 draw with Misr El Makasa in the Egyptian League on Monday night.
The talented central midfielder was substituted in the first half of the game due to the injury and per the club’s medical team check on him, he has a strain in his muscle and will need not less than two weeks to recover.
He will miss the league games with Ghazl El Mahala, Al Ittihad and also the Cup game with Mahala but could return for the away league match against Al Masry on February 26.
Bonsu joined FC Cleopatra from Esperance last month for a fee of $290,000 and has so far made seven league appearances.
