Tunisian giants Esperance will be without Ghanaian Midfielder Kwame Bonsu for the next six weeks, the club has confirmed.
Less than one week after the resumption of the team’s training, Bonsu has picked an injury and had to undergo ‘meniscus surgery’.
The former Asante Kotoko defensive midfielder will thus be sidelined for up to six weeks before he could join his teammates again.
“The successful procedure will require about 4 to 6 weeks of physical therapy,” the club said.
The statement added “We wish our midfielder a speedy recovery. Get well soon ‘Conte’!”
