Kurt Okraku, President of the Ghana Football Association, has encouraged the Black Stars to deliver a confident performance against Mali and secure a crucial three points in their upcoming match in Bamako.
The Black Stars arrived in Bamako on Tuesday night for their third-round qualifier for the 2026 World Cup. They aim to recover from a defeat by Comoros, which has left them fourth in Group I with three points from two games.
Addressing the team after a training session in Ghana, Okraku said, “I hope that we’ll go to Mali with all the confidence that we have, with all the quality that I know we have, and go and put up a good performance that will give us the desired results. This is possible.
“Then, after that, we’ll come back to our favorite, Marseille, and God willing, finish off the other game. On behalf of the FA, on behalf of Ghanaians, I wish all of us well.”
