President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku, has expressed his desire to leave behind a legacy defined by integrity and honesty.
In an interview with Original FM on Wednesday, April 30, Okraku, who was recently appointed as the Second Vice President of the Confederation of African Football (CAF), stated:
“I want to be remembered as an honest leader.”
Since taking office in 2019, Okraku has led the Ghana FA with a focus on reform and development. Now in his second term, he continues to champion initiatives aimed at improving the state of football in Ghana.
His leadership has extended beyond national borders. As President of WAFU Zone B, his efforts have earned him respect across the African football community, culminating in his recent appointment to the high-ranking CAF position.
In his new role at CAF, Okraku has committed to supporting CAF President Dr. Patrice Motsepe in advancing the game across the continent. He has pledged to bring the same level of dedication and transparency that he has demonstrated in Ghana.
With a growing reputation for integrity and a strong focus on development, Kurt Okraku hopes his legacy will reflect the values he continues to uphold in football leadership.
