Defender Konadu Yiadom has returned to Hearts of Oak after a disappointing loan spell with Ukrainian side Kryvbas Kryvyi.
The 24-year-old had joined the Ukrainian club on loan in August 2023, hoping to secure a permanent deal, but struggled to make an impact.
Yiadom failed to make a single appearance for Kryvbas Kryvyi and was only named on the bench twice as the season came to a close. With his lack of playtime, it was an easy decision for the club not to retain him.
As a result, Yiadom has returned to his mother club Hearts of Oak, where he was spotted training with the Phobians on Monday at Pobiman.
Yiadom’s contract with Hearts of Oak runs until June 30, 2025. Prior to his loan spell, he played a key role in helping the Phobians secure the MTN FA Cup in 2022.
The Ghanaian defender will be eager to regain his form and make a positive impact for Hearts of Oak in the upcoming season.
