Eighteen Black Stars players have reported to camp at the Ana Crowne Plaza Hotel in Nagoya as Ghana begins preparations for the Kirin Cup clash against Japan on Friday, November 14, 2025.
Sixteen players arrived on Tuesday, joining local-based duo Kelvin Nkrumah and Prince Owusu, who traveled from Accra on Sunday.
The players currently in camp include Joseph Anang, Lawrence Ati-Zigi, Derrick Kohn, Jerome Opoku, Ebenezer Annan, Jonas Adjetey, Kojo Oppong Peprah, Caleb Yirenkyi, Alidu Seidu, and Gideon Mensah. They are joined by Abu Francis, Kwasi Sibo, Kamal Deen Sulemana, Antoine Semenyo, Brandon Thomas-Asante, Kelvin Nkrumah, Prince Owusu, and Prince Adu Kwabena.
Hearts of Oak goalkeeper Benjamin Asare, who featured in Sunday’s Super Clash against Asante Kotoko, is expected to link up with the team on Wednesday alongside Christopher Bonsu Baah, Prince Osei Owusu, and Mohammed Salisu.
The Black Stars will hold their first training session in Nagoya on Wednesday as preparations continue for the much-anticipated friendly against the Samurai Blue.
