Ghana international, Kennedy Boateng made his maiden UEFA Europa Conference League appearance for Santa Clara in their game against Olimpija Ljubljana on Thursday.
Boateng was named in the starting line-up for the game at the Stozicd stadium as Santa Clara looked to book their place in the next round.
The versatile defender played all 90 minutes for his side, who beat the home team with a 1-0 scoreline to record a 3-0 aggregate victory.
The 24-year-old was on the bench for the reverse game but injuries meant that he was handed a starting berth on Thursday.
