Ghana’s head coach, Otto Addo, has expressed his heartfelt gratitude to fans for their unwavering support as the Black Stars gear up for their crucial 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier against Angola.
Speaking ahead of the match, Addo commended the fans for standing by the team during tough moments, especially during their comeback win over the Central African Republic. “To say thank you for our last support against the Central African Republic really impresses me. Even though we were 2-1 behind, they still supported us fully. We need your support, and we thank the supporters for the last game. Keep showing up and keep supporting,” Addo said in an interview with Peace FM.
The Black Stars began their preparations with a training session at the Accra Sports Stadium before flying to Kumasi to continue their training.
Ghana will take on Angola at the Baba Yara Stadium on September 5, followed by a match against Niger in Morocco on September 9, as they strive to secure their spot in the prestigious AFCON tournament.
