Karela United are looking forward to sign former Ghana youth star Samuel Afful as an alternative for striker Diawisie Taylor who has moved to newly promoted Egyptian Premier League side Fortune FC.
Sportsworldghana.com can confirm that Afful who has been without a club after returning from a short stint in Iraq is currently in Nzema training with Karela as both parties are eager to reach an agreement.
Afful, a clinical finisher who can strike also from the wings made name with Sekondi Hasaacas during their time in the Ghana Premier League and was courted by both Kotoko and Hearts of Oak.
He was part of the Ghana national Under 20 squad in 2015 but did not make the World Cup team for the tournament in New Zealand.
