Ghanaian winger Kamaldeen Sulemana has revealed that the rise of close friend Mohammed Kudus continues to inspire him in his own football journey.
The two players share a long-standing friendship, having developed their talents together at Ghana’s renowned Right to Dream Academy. Their bond has remained strong as they both now ply their trade in the English Premier League—Sulemana at Southampton and Kudus at West Ham United.
Speaking about Kudus’ impact, Sulemana acknowledged the challenges his friend has faced this season but emphasized the brilliance he displayed previously.
“Kudus hasn’t had the best season this season, but he was sublime last season,” Sulemana noted. “It gives me motivation to push as hard as I can.”
Admiring Kudus’ success, Sulemana is determined to carve out his own path in the Premier League. Despite Southampton’s ongoing relegation battle, he remains focused on making his mark and proving his worth.
The strong friendship between the two extends beyond the pitch. Sulemana has openly supported Kudus throughout his career and once confidently predicted his friend’s success in English football. That mutual encouragement continues to fuel both players as they strive to reach greater heights.
