Italian-born Ghanaian midfielder Joshua Tenkorang has officially signed a two-year contract with Ravenna FC, following his departure from US Cremonese as a free agent.
The 23-year-old, who operated on loan at Lecco last season, brings valuable experience to the Serie C side, having previously played in both Serie B and Serie C. His past clubs include Campobasso, Virtus Entella, and Lumezzane.
Ravenna FC confirmed the signing in an official statement:
“Ravenna FC is delighted to announce the permanent signing of midfielder Joshua Tenkorang. The player has signed a two-year contract with the Giallorossi.”
Born in 2000, Tenkorang is admired for his speed, creative playmaking, and his ability to support both defense and attack. He rose through the youth ranks at Novara and Pro Vercelli and also had a stint in Germany with the youth setup at Arminia Bielefeld.
The club expressed confidence in their new recruit, stating:
“With Tenkorang’s arrival, Ravenna FC strengthens its midfield with a dynamic and determined player, bringing energy and experience to the squad.”
Although raised in Italy, Tenkorang is still eligible to represent Ghana at the international level through his Ghanaian parentage.
