England-born defender of Ghanaian descent, Joshua Kofi Acheampong, has been included in Chelsea’s squad for their upcoming UEFA Europa Conference League quarter-final first-leg match against Polish side Legia Warszawa.
The Blues will travel to Warsaw for the highly anticipated fixture, scheduled for Thursday evening, and head coach Enzo Maresca has once again shown his faith in the talented youngster by naming him in the 24-man squad.
Acheampong joins a strong defensive lineup that features the likes of Reece James, Marc Cucurella, Tosin Adarabioyo, and Benoit Badiashile, highlighting the trust the coaching staff has placed in the teenage prospect.
