Ghana international Joseph Attamah Larweh was involved in the Turkish Super Lig on Friday as Kayserispor drew Adana Demirspor at home in their second game of the 2021/22 season.
The 27-year-old was named in the starting line-up by manager Hikmet Karaman for the game as they search their first point of the season. The Ghanaian started in midfield alongside Turkey international Ibrahim Akdag, the former going on to play all minutes available at his disposal.
Attamah set up Gokhan Sazdagi for the openerin the 17th minute of the game to give the home side the lead before the half-time whistle, but Kayserispor did very little to hold unto their lead as Mario Balotelli provided the assist for Babajide Akintola to level proceedings for Demirspor.
The Ghanaian midfielder was impressive in the game as he bossed the midfield area for his side, but his efforts could only see his side walk away with a point, the first of the season from an available six.
After the game, Attamah posted on his Twitter page to react to the game, addressing it as ‘not the best of games.’ However, he was happy to have registered an assist to help his side.
