Nadeshiko Japan will play against the Black Queens of Ghana as part of their preparations for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
Japan are in Group C in the 2024 Paris Olympic Games alongside Brazil, Spain and Nigeria. In a bid to get used to the different styles their opponents will present, Japan has selected Ghana for a friendly game because of Nigeria’s presence in the group.
The Japanese Football Association has announced an agreement reached between Ghana’s Football Association for a friendly game between their respective female senior national teams.
Black Queens are expected to give Japan a tough competition because they have been very good since Naura Hauptle took over in the last 16 months albeit they missed the Paris Olympic Games after failing to eliminate the Copper Queens of Zambia in the qualifiers.
The Kanazawa Go-Go Curry Stadium in Ishikawa will host the tie on June 13th.
