English-born Ghanaian midfielder Tyrese Fornah says it feels really good to move on a permanent deal to English League One side Derby County FC.
Fornah, who has joined Derby from local rivals Nottingham Forest, says there was no apprehension about making the move across the East Midlands and explained that he’s now fully focused on succeeding with the Rams.
The 23-year-old spoke to RamsTV upon completion of his move to express his delight at getting a deal done as he’s a family man who needed to settle.
“It was very important because I’m a family man. I love my family, my girlfriend and my dog. It was important that they were on board with me too for an exciting new chapter.”
“It feels really good to be here. I’m just over the moon to finally be a Derby player and I can’t wait to get started.”
