Former Kotoko goalkeeper Ernest Sowah has confirmed parting ways with Kumasi Asante Kotoko on mutual grounds, stating he is “very happy” to ended his relationship with the Porcupine Warriors.
The former Berekum Chelsea stopper received his letter of mutual termination of his contract with the FA Cup champions on Friday and will return to Accra to decide what is next with his family.
“I have mutually terminated my contract with Kumasi Asante Kotoko and everyone has taken it in good faith. I am very excited and happy for this , I have gone through a lot and am happy for this”, Sowah told Kumasi based FOX 97.9 FM.
Sowah stated that he used to be the soft type of person but per the treatment he has been through at Kotoko at the latter stages of his contract, he is now ” a man” and has learned a lot.
Ernest Sowah has been strongly linked with a move to Accra Hearts of Oak but the mercurial goalkeeper is yet to make a decision on his future, but is open to joining any club that comes with the right conditions.
“I’m opened to join any club, I have been out of active football for long and I need a club to revive myself, so am opened to any club”, Sowah explained.
