Asante Kotoko has officially welcomed Elvis Kyei Baffour to the team after the completion of his medical examination in Kumasi.
The dynamic forward, who has previously played for Avenir Sportif de Soliman in Tunisia and NK Rogaška in Slovenia, has signed a three-year contract with the Porcupine Warriors.
Known for his speed, goal-scoring abilities, and technical skills, Kyei Baffour made a name for himself in the Ghana Premier League with Liberty Professionals. In the 2019/2020 season, he scored 8 goals and provided 4 assists in just 15 games.
Expressing his excitement about joining Asante Kotoko, Kyei Baffour told scasantekotoko.com, “I am honored to join this prestigious club with such a rich history and passionate fan base. Returning to Kumasi, where I was raised, makes this move even more special. I look forward to contributing to the team’s success and achieving great things together.”
The talented forward is set to lead Asante Kotoko’s attack in the upcoming Democracy Cup match against Hearts of Oak in Accra on Wednesday.
