Growing up, Kwadwo Baah wasn’t just known for his football skills. In fact, his early years were filled with a love for multiple sports. From the adrenaline of sprinting on the track to the strategy of basketball and the grit of rugby, Kwadwo’s athleticism was obvious from the start.
“I did football and athletics mainly,” he recalls. “Although I did play rugby and basketball as well.”
But as he got older and his football talent began to shine more brightly, the time came for a difficult choice.
“I think I did football a bit more than the athletics,” he said. “And as you grow up and you get into your scholar years and stuff, you have to push other things to the side to focus on your football.”
It wasn’t easy, letting go of other sports he enjoyed. But that sacrifice laid the foundation for his rise in football—a journey marked by hard work, discipline, and a clear sense of direction from a young age.
