Ghanaian forward Kwesi Appiah has expressed his commitment to scoring goals for Boreham Wood after manager Luke Garrard revealed that he will play a key role in the team for the upcoming season.
Appiah recently joined Boreham Wood on a two-year deal in the National Football League.
The former Ghana international and 2015 Africa Cup of Nations hero was buzzing to join Boreham Wood and said: “Goals, that’s what I am here to do. I’m here to score goals and lift the team as best as I can in the forward areas,” he said when asked about what the fans should expect from him.
He impressed during the previous season with Crawley Town, scoring 11 goals in 26 league games.
Appiah’s football journey started at Ebbsfleet United and he has had loan spells at various clubs in the English Football League and National League.
