Former Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC darling Boy, Charles Taylor has tipped determined Hearts of Oak SC team to clinch this year’s Premier League trophy.
The Hearts of Oak legend believes the hunger for success amongst the players of the Rainbow club is very glaring to see and sees them as a team who are determined to clear every hurdle in their way.
The Phobians have gone 50 days without a defeat on the domestic scene winning eight games and drawing one in all competitions.
Speaking on Accra-based Angel TV show, Taylor was full of praise of the attitude of the players of the team in the capital.
“Hearts are determined to win the league title. I have been to their camp and interacted with the players and I could clearly see the determination in the players to cross every hurdle that comes their way,” the former CAF Champions League winner said on Angel TV.
The Phobians are with a major trophy since they won the league in 2009 and look on course to end the long trophy drought this season after coach Samuel Boadu took charge of the team.
Hearts must avoid defeat in their last five matches in the league and face a tricky week which could determine their fate as they play two crucial games against Legon Cities FC on Thursday evening before taking on arch-rivals Asante Kotoko.
