Regarded as one of the best left backs in the Ghana Premier League Rady Ovouka contributed very little to his team in terms of goals and assists but the Congolese shook the net over the weekend as Hearts of Oak won 4-0 over WAFA.
Ovouka registered his first goal of the season with a powerful left footed effort in the 73rd minute that saw his strike shake the roof of the net to put Hearts of Oak 3-0 up.
So far it has been three assists and one goal for the tough-tackling full back – who has established himself as one of the most difficult defenders to be dribbled past.
But is the consistency in his attacking qualities that will be make him undisputed best left back in the country’s top-flight as someone like Asante Kotoko’s Imoro Ibrahim offers some sort of balance – something that is clearly lacking in the game of the Phobian defender.
