Hearts of Oak registered supremacy over Dreams FC after recording a 1-0 win over the Dawu-based club in the Normalisation Committee Special Competition opening game on Sunday at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Striker Kojo Obeng Jnr. netted the only goal for Kim Grant’s side as they commenced the competition on a winning note.

The Phobians struggled to organized themselves in the first half but came back stronger in the second half to beat Dreams FC who despite creating some decent chances failed to put the ball at the back of the net.
Dreams FC started brightly pegging Hearts of Oak into their own half and dictating the pace of the game.
The first chance of the game fell to striker Richard Addai but after soaring high above Hearts of Oak defender Alhassan Mohammed, his header missed the target by inches.

Hearts of Oak nearly took the lead against the run of play in the 24th minute when Joseph Esson spectacularly lob from a William Dankyi corner took a ricochet of the upright.
The pendulum of fortune swung in favour of Hearts of Oak as they came strongly into the game.
Dreams FC goalkeeper Isaac Amoako pulled two stupendous saves in the 37th and 38th minute respectively to deny the Phobians the lead.
