Swiss-born Ghanaian defender Gregory Kwesi Wuthrich has left A-League side Perth Glory despite the club wanting to retain him.
Wuthrich, 25, has been key at the back for Perth Glory in the Australian topflight this season playing eighteen games and netting one goal but he has chosen to move on as he seeks a new adventure,
SportsworldGhana.com understand that the contract of the talented centre-back was expected to end on June 30, 2020 Perth Glory were keen on offering him a fresh deal but he declined saying he would not return to Australia for the remainder of the games when football resumes after the break.
Various teams in Switzerland and Austria are said to be interested in the gangling guardsman with FC Sion leading the race to acquire his signature this summer.
He previously featured for Swiss clubs Young Boys as well as Grasshoppers.
