Great Olympics head coach Annor Walker says his decision to start giant striker Abdul Manan Mudasiru from the bench has paid off.
The former Dreams FC forward was Olympics top scorer during the pre-season but went seventeen games without scoring when the league begun though he set up goals for his colleagues.
The experienced gaffer decided to start Mudasiru from the bench and it has started yielding dividends as he has banged in three goals in his last three games for the “Dade Boys”.
“In the first round you know he was my top man but seventeen matches without a goal, but he was giving chances to Abbey Ashie and Michael Yeboah to be scoring.” Walker told the Press
“So this second round I realized no, I have to try him from the bench and I tried it from WAFA , it worked for me and it is working up till now.”
“So he (Mudasiru) has been my super-sub for now.”
Great Olympics are fourth on the league log with 43 points after 26 games.
