The betPawa Ghana Premier League nears its final stages with quite some interesting games to expect as well as relegation battles.
FC Samartex will come up against Hearts of Oak in their next league game at the Nsenkyire Park at Samreboi on Sunday.
The Timber Giants are chasing a first win of the month after ending April on a losing note. Annor Walker’s side suffered a 2-0 loss to Bechem United at the Nana Gyeabour Park last weekend.
Hearts, on the other side, are seeking to keep their momentum after ending their losing streak in the fixture against King Faisal. The Rainbow Club sealed a 2-0 victory at the Accra Sports Stadium thanks to late goals from Salifu Ibrahim and Linda Mtange.
Six points separate Samartex from Hearts of Oak and a win for the home side will only get them closer to the Accra-based side. Hearts are also six points behind Aduana FC, who are league leaders at the moment with four games until the end of the season.
Samartex are hoping to move up the table and chase a potential top-four place while the Phobians are aiming for another league title.
