Inter Allies spanked Berekum Chelsea by 5-0 in their last home match and this weekend Medeama are their next opponents at the Theatre of Dreams and if the Yellow and Mauves fail to win, the 2020/21 league title could probably be over for them.
The team coached by Yaw Preko won 1-0 over Ashantigold thanks to a late penalty goal by striker Prince Opoku Agyemang as Medeama bounced back from two successive defeats against WAFA and Aduana Stars.
Medeama are 4th on the league standings on 43 points and a win take them to 46 and depending on how results go in the Olympics, Kotoko and Hearts of Oak games, the club of Moses Armah Parker could catch up strongly in the title race.
Allies are bottom of the league and are sure bets to see the drop but they have are having the results of late – five nil against Chelsea and 2-0 over Elmina Sharks meaning Medeama would have to be excellent if they are to claim all three points.
