Nations FC is set to make its league debut in the club’s history, having qualified from zone two of the Access Bank Division One league. They will face Dreams FC on Wednesday, September 20, 2023, in Dawu.
Dreams FC, the FA Cup champions from the previous season, secured a 6th-place finish in the league but suffered defeat in the super cup match against Medeama SC at the Cape Coast Stadium.
The Still Believe side has bolstered its squad with seasoned players such as John Antwi, Enoch Abuu, Francis Odoom, and Richard Mensah, who joined from Kotoku Royals.
Following their promotion to the premier league, Nations FC appointed former Bechem United head coach, Kassim Mingle Ocansey, and also added Brazilian forward De Santana to their ranks.
The team’s roster has been further strengthened with the acquisitions of Victor Oduro, Nafiu Sulemana, Barimah Baah, Razak Simpson, Emmanuel Kontor, and Prince Acquah.
You can catch the live broadcast of the game on Startimes Adepa Channel 247 on Wednesday at 3 pm.
