Accra Hearts of Oak have begun trials with winger Kwabena Adu Meider as the club weighs up a possible signing ahead of the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season.
The 26-year-old attacker, who previously featured for Nsoatreman FC and Legon Cities, has been without a club since parting ways with Nsoatreman. Now, he is hoping to reignite his career by securing a place with the Phobians, one of Ghana’s most decorated sides.
Renowned for his blistering pace and direct dribbling ability, Adu Meider offers qualities Hearts are eager to inject into their frontline as head coach Aboubakar Ouattara continues to reshape the squad following a disappointing campaign last season.
Sources within the club reveal that Adu Meider is highly motivated to impress Ouattara and his technical team during training sessions. His addition would provide depth and competition in attack as Hearts aim for a stronger showing in the new campaign.
The Phobians are currently preparing for the Homowo Cup clash against Heart of Lions on Sunday, August 17, before shifting their attention to the league’s start in September. Adu Meider will look to seize this opportunity to prove he can be a valuable asset in Hearts’ bid for resurgence.
