The 2020/21 Ghana Premier League season kicked off over the weekend.
Six matches have already been completed as WAFA became the only side to register a win with the rest of the games all ending in stalemates.
As it id easily defined by Yoursoccerhome.com , when the term “brace” is used in soccer it is referring to the act of one player scoring 2 goals in a single game. If a player has “scored a brace” it means they have scored twice.
But who are the players to register the first braces of the season?
Daniel Lomotey – WAFA
The reliable goalscorer has been the main source of goals for WAFA in the last couple of seasons and on opening day Lomotey was there as usual hitting a brace to help his team beat King Faisal 4-3.

Kwame Peprah – King Faisal
Peprah is the leading marksman for his side. Even if the team does not play well he is mostly shoulders above his teammates. It is not surprising that Kwame Peprah is continuing where he left off from last season by scoring twice at a difficult ground in Sogakope. Faisal lost 4-3 but Peprah performed well and did everything he could to lift his team in the game but WAFA will protect their lead.
