Dutch born Ghanaian defender Godfried Frimpong will play no football again this year for Portuguese outfit Moreirense after undergoing surgery.
Frimpong damaged his collarbone last week in training and he has now had a successful operation to get it fixed.
Sportsworldghana.com can confirm that the former Benfica player will not feature for his club again until January 2022 when he becomes fully fit.
He has made just two league appearances for Moreirense since his summer 2021 move from Benfica on a four-year deal.
