Dutch-born Ghanaian defender Godfried Frimpong has officially signed with Turkish Super Lig club Kasımpaşa SK.
The 26-year-old joins the Istanbul-based club on a two-year deal, with an option to extend for an additional year. He arrives as a free agent after parting ways with Portuguese side Moreirense FC at the end of the 2024–25 season.
The signing was confirmed at Kasımpaşa’s Turgay Ciner Sports Facilities following Frimpong’s medical checks. The club has welcomed him warmly and expressed hope for his success in the team.
Frimpong, who once featured for the Netherlands U16 and U18 teams, is still eligible to represent Ghana at the senior international level due to his heritage.
