Ghana Black Stars defender, Gideon Mensah was in action for French side, Girondins de Bordeaux over the weekend in their league game.
The 23-year-old was handed his maiden appearance for the club as they played away to heavyweights, Olympique de Marseille.
Mensah played as the left wing-back in what looked like a 5-3-2 formation by manager Vladimir Petkovic.
The Ghanaian put some good performances throughout the entirety of the game and saw his side record a 2-2 draw with Marseille.
The Red Bull Salzburg loanee looked impressive and was delighted to have mace his debut for the club while also appreciating the efforts of his teammates in a social media post.

Mensah is also expected to be involved in majority of Bordeaux’s games this season after joining on loan from the Austrian Bundesliga side.
