Ghanaian forward, Umar Basit scored his first goal for Ankaraspor in their 1-2 home loss Mahatma Otoo’s Balikesirspor in the Turkish Liga 1 on Sunday afternoon.
The 20-year-old former Karela United attacker scored the only goal for his team and was not enough to prevent them to a home loss in the Turkish second-tier league.

Basit’s goal was an equalizer for the hosts on the 25th-minute after they went behind five minutes early to Cumali Bisi’s 20th-minute strike.
The young Ghanaian forward lasted the entire duration of the match.
Basit, 20, goal in today’s game is his first in Turkey after playing four matches since joining Ankaraspor on-loan this summer.
