Ghanaian youngster Mark Owusu Dwomoh has expressed joy after helping his side Issia Wazi secure qualification to the Ivory Coast elite division over the weekend.
The highly rated midfielder was impressive for Wazi as they recorded a 2-1 victory over Esperance Bouake in their final game of League 2 season on Sunday, a result which propelled them to the Ivorian top flight.
”I feel very so excited to be part of the club’s historic qualification to the Premier League.” Dwomoh told SportsworldGhana.com in an exclusive interview.
The youngster who dreams playing in Europe anytime soon added ”Ivory Coast has a very good talented players which make their Ligue 2 more interesting and also their league as more physical and high intensity so I think it has helped me to develop more as player both mentally and skills.
”Different country and also different style of play and philosophy so I think this season all has been a learning curve for me because I have matured as a player and my personal life.” He concluded.
The budding midfielder only joined Issia Wazi in January this year but has gone on to establish himself as a first team regular, starting in 8 out of 10 games and scored 3 goals in the process with 5 assists.
Mark Dwomoh started his football career with Dansoman based colts club Mission Rangers before moving to Techiman based Kenten FC.
Prior to joining Assia Wazi in January 2019, the youngster has already had short stints in Dubai and Georgia but failed to secure a permanent deal.
