Ghanaian forward Kwasi Okyere Wriedt scored again in a second game running for Willem II in the Dutch Eredivisie on Tuesday evening away at RKC Waalwijk.
The former Bayern München striker played 81 minutes of his team’s 2-1 victory on the road to move to second on the league table after six matches.
The first half of the match failed to produce a goal despite some decent chances created by both teams.
Six minutes after the break, the tall player latched onto a loose ball inside the box with his left foot and found the bottom left corner to put the visitors 1-0 up on the 51st minute mark.
Mat Körlert made it 2-0 to double the away team’s advantage on the 59th minute mark.
Melle Meuslensteen scored a good goal in the last minute of the match to pull one back for the home team to make it 2-1 but his goal was not enough to rescue his team from defeat.
The 27-year-old Kwasi Okyere Wriedt has scored 3 goals in 6 matches and has one assist to his name.
