Ghanaian forward, Kwabena Owusu scored in his team’s victory over Keshla FK at home on Friday evening in the Azerbaijani Premier League.
The Ghanaian forward came from the bench to score the second goal to propel his team to secure an impressive 2-0 win to return to the summit with 57 points from 27 matches and a point above FK Neftchi.
Mehir Emreli notched the opening goal of the match to put the hosts 1-0 up early in the second half after a goalless first 45 minutes on the 47th minute.
Owusu was introduced to the match after 71 minutes and wasted not time much before he grabbed his goal on the 77th minute to set up his team to a hard earned win to go top of the league table.
The 23-year-old former Black Meteors marksman has banged in six goals in 24 appearances for the defending champions.
