Ghana international, Gideon Mensah says he is relishing the opportunity for a new challenge after making a move to France.
Mensah has joined Bordeaux ahead of the 2021/22 campaign on an initial loan deal as he looks forward to taking his chances in Europe.
The left-back joins the Ligue 1 club from Austrian side, Red Bull Salzburg with an option to make it permanent at the end of the 2021/2021 campaign.
Mensah last season played for Portuguese outfit, Vitoria Guimaraes where he made 22 appearances before his return to his parent club.
The Black Stars defender shared a tweet on his social media page, gunning for the opportunity to experience a new league.

The 23-year-old will don the shirt number 14, which had become vacant following the departure of central defender Vukasin Jovanovic.
