Dreams FC emerged as the third-highest scoring club in the 2023/24 CAF Confederation Cup, netting a total of 14 goals.
They trailed only behind the eventual champions Zamalek, who scored 16 goals, and the runners-up RS Berkane, who tallied 15 goals.
Under the guidance of Karim Zito, Dreams FC defied expectations by advancing to the knockout stage in their debut appearance in the competition.
During the group stage, Dreams FC scored 11 goals in matches against Rivers United, Club Africain, and Angola’s Académica do Lobito.
In the quarter-final, they scored three goals to eliminate Stade Malian, but they were unable to score against Zamalek in the semi-final, leading to their exit from the tournament.
