Ghanaian prodigy Abu Francis featured for FC Nordsjaelland in their first league game of the 2021/22 Superligaen campaign on Sunday.
The central midfielder played the full 90 minutes as Nordsjaelland blew away an early goal league to Viborg FF in their opening league fixture. Viborg equalised the score with four minutes left until half-time through Younes Bakiz after Oliver Antman had given the host an early lead from the penalty spot.
After the recess, Lars Kramer powered the away side into the lead as they went on to claim all three points at the Right to Dream Park.
The former Right to Dream talent was one of the top performers for Flemming Pedersen’s team during the 2020/21 season, as he scored five league goals in just seven starts.
Here is the midfielder’s statistics from the game:
86% Passing Accuracy
3/4 Long ball completed
1 shot on target
2 tackles
1 interception
The 20-year-old will definitely look to help his side bounce back to winning ways when they face AGF Aarhus in their next league game.
