Marbella FC has made a significant move to strengthen its attacking line with the signing of Ghanaian winger Tahiru Awudu, ahead of the upcoming season.
The 24-year-old has put pen to paper on a one-year contract, with an option for an additional twelve months, bringing his impressive skillset to the club.
Awudu, previously with Medeama SC and CD Estepona, is known for his lightning-quick speed, explosive dribbling, and goal-scoring prowess. His arrival is expected to inject some much-needed firepower into Marbella’s attack as they aim to secure promotion to the second tier of Spanish football.
The club officially confirmed Awudu’s signing, stating, “Marbella Ftbol Club has reached an agreement with the Ghanaian player Tahiru Awudu, who will remain linked to our club until June 30, 2025, with the option of one more season.”
Awudu has prior experience in the Spanish lower divisions, having played for CF Fuenlabrada and CD Badajoz before joining Alcobendas FC in 2020.
During his time at CD Estepona in the Second RFEF, he scored 5 goals and provided 5 assists in the last league season.
