Ghanaian midfielder Yaw Paintsil was on the score sheet for Tromso Il in the Norwegian Top-flight on Sunday evening at home against Lillestrom SK.
He netted his team’s third and final goal in their 3-1 comeback win over the Yellow and Blacks outfit to go third on the league table with 36 points from 17 matches.
Espen Garnas scored the opening goal of the match to put the away team in the lead on the stroke of half time.
Justein Gundersen grabbed the equalizer for the home team to to restore parity six minutes after the hour mark with a fine strike.
Vegard Ostraat Erlien on the 72nd scored the second goal for the home team to to turn the game on its head to make it 2-1 to Tromso.
Just before the full time whistle, Paintsil grabbed the third goal to make it a comfortable 3-1 win for the hosts.
The 23-year-old Ghanaian midfielder has four goals and one assist in 15 games.
