After a three-month injury absence, Majeed Ashimeru made his return to action on October 14, 2023, as Anderlecht secured a 1-0 victory against Germinal Beerschot.
Ashimeru, who had been sidelined due to a hamstring injury, made his comeback during the second half, and Anderlecht sealed the win with a goal from striker Luis Vazquez.
This return to the pitch means that Ashimeru will be available for selection as coach Brian Reimer prepares his team to face Standard Liège in the upcoming match next Sunday.
The Ghana international had been recovering from his injury since the start of the season, after playing 81 minutes in their season opener, which resulted in a 2-0 defeat against Saint-Gilloise.
In the previous season, the 26-year-old contributed with two goals in 28 appearances.
